Warden Hill is a largely residential ward on the south‑eastern edge of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, sitting beneath the Cotswold scarp. The area is dominated by the grassy hill of the same name and a local nature area noted for its chalk grassland and panoramic views across the town and the Cotswolds, making it popular with walkers and birdwatchers.
Much of the ward grew up with 20th‑century suburban expansion, so housing is a mix of post‑war and more recent builds, with small local shops, schools and community groups providing the social heart. Economically it functions as a commuter neighbourhood for jobs in central Cheltenham and nearby centres, but it still retains a semi‑rural feel and an active residents’ interest in protecting the hill and green spaces.
