Little Rissington is a small, quintessential Cotswold village in the rolling limestone hills of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Gloucestershire, England. Narrow lanes, honey‑coloured stone cottages and a medieval parish church give it a traditional feel, and the landscape around the village is largely agricultural with good walking and cycling on quiet country lanes.
The village is perhaps best known for the nearby airfield of RAF Little Rissington, a 20th‑century station with a strong training history and distinctive hangars that punctuate the otherwise rural scene. Economically it’s a mix of farming, local services and commuters, with easy access to larger Cotswold market towns such as Bourton‑on‑the‑Water and Stow‑on‑the‑Wold, and a small but active community centred on the village hall and pub.
