Redmarley D'Abitot is a small rural village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England. Perched around the ridge of Redmarley Hill, it commands wide views across the Severn Vale towards the Cotswolds, and is characterised by farmland, hedgerows and quiet country lanes popular with walkers.
The village name preserves its Norman past - the "D'Abitot" element referring to the medieval sheriff Urse d'Abetot - and the community retains a compact historic core with a parish church displaying medieval features. Local life is largely agricultural with a small, close-knit community centred on the church and village hall, while many residents commute to nearby towns for work.
