Brockworth is a large village in the borough of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England, sitting on the lower slopes of the Cotswolds a few miles east of Gloucester and south of Cheltenham. It mixes post‑war and older housing, pockets of green space and local shops, and functions in many ways as a commuter suburb while still keeping a recognisable village feel.
The place is best known for Cooper's Hill, the steep slope used for the famous annual cheese‑rolling, and for its aviation heritage - the former Gloster aircraft works and airfield at Brockworth were important in the development of early British jets. Today the area combines light industry and business parks with active community groups and a strong local identity rooted in that blend of history and countryside.
