North Baddesley is a sizable village and civil parish in Test Valley, Hampshire, England, lying a few miles north‑east of Southampton and just to the east of Romsey. Set amid typical Hampshire chalk countryside with pockets of common and parkland such as Baddesley Common, it enjoys easy road links to the coast and the wider region via the M27, and offers plenty of local walking routes and green space.
Historically the settlement grew from medieval farming and manor land into the substantial village seen today, with much expansion in the post‑war and late 20th century that established it as a commuter community for nearby towns. The village has a compact centre with shops, pubs, schools, sports clubs and active community groups, giving a mix of suburban convenience and the social feel of a traditional Hampshire village.
