Durley is a small rural village and civil parish in the City of Winchester district of Hampshire, England, set on the edge of rolling chalk downland typical of the nearby South Downs. The settlement has a compact core of historic cottages and a parish church surrounded by farmland and hedgerows, giving good countryside views while remaining within easy reach of larger towns.
Historically agricultural, Durley still has working farms but has also become partly a commuter village, with many residents travelling to work elsewhere; local life centres on a village hall, green and community events. Its mix of traditional buildings, rural character and active local clubs and fetes reflect a long-standing village identity within the Hampshire countryside.
