Madley is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England, set in rolling agricultural countryside roughly eight miles south‑west of Hereford. The area is characterised by mixed farms, hedged lanes and scattered hamlets, reflecting the county’s cider, beef and arable traditions rather than any large urban centre.
Historically the parish is best known for RAF Madley, a Second World War airfield whose site later became a communications and business hub and still hosts distribution and telecoms firms, giving a modern economic boost alongside farming. The village retains a historic core with a parish church and active community life - village events, a hall and local clubs help keep a strong social fabric despite its rural setting.
