Stone-cum-Ebony is a small, largely rural civil parish in the borough of Ashford, Kent, England, made up of the neighbouring hamlets of Stone and Ebony. Set among gently rolling farmland and hedgerows, it retains a number of older buildings and a compact parish church that speak to its long local history and agricultural roots.
The local economy is still mainly agricultural, complemented by a modest commuter population who travel to Ashford and beyond to London for work. Community life is quiet but active, centred on village events and the rural landscape which attracts walkers and those looking for a peaceful Kentish village atmosphere.
