The town of Edenbridge lies in the district of Sevenoaks in Kent, England, where the sinuous River Eden crosses ancient routes at the foot of the North Downs and into the wooded ridges of the High Weald. That riverside setting and surrounding AONB countryside give the place a strong village feel and make it popular with walkers and nature lovers.
Historically a market and river‑crossing settlement - its name comes from the bridge over the Eden - the town retains conservation areas, independent shops, pubs and community groups alongside some light industry. Two railway stations, Edenbridge and Edenbridge Town, provide commuter services into London, so many residents combine local life with work in the capital, while fairs, clubs and volunteer initiatives keep a lively civic and cultural scene.
