Lamberhurst is a village and civil parish in the borough of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, set in the wooded valleys of the High Weald on the Kent–Sussex fringes. The River Teise and a landscape of sandstone ridges, streams and historic hammer ponds reflect its Wealden past; nearby attractions include Scotney Castle and the large reservoir at Bewl Water, making it popular with walkers and anglers.
Historically the area was shaped by the Wealden iron industry and later by hops and orchards, and today supports a mix of small-scale agriculture, artisan food and tourism alongside residents who commute to larger towns. The village retains a strong community feel with pubs, shops and local events, while its historic houses, timber‑framed buildings and attractive countryside draw visitors interested in rural Kentish character and history.
