Pembury is a village and civil parish in the borough of Tunbridge Wells, in the county of Kent, England. It lies a few miles north of Royal Tunbridge Wells on the rolling sandstone ridges of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a long rural history in hop-growing and orchards and a medieval parish church at its heart.
Today Pembury combines a strong village feel - pubs, shops, sports clubs and community events - with commuter links, including nearby rail services into London and good road connections. The village also hosts the local acute hospital site, has pockets of newer housing alongside older lanes, and retains plenty of green space that keeps a largely semi-rural character despite its close ties to Tunbridge Wells.
