Five Oak Green is a small village in the borough of Tunbridge Wells, in Kent, England, sitting on the edge of the High Weald and close to Paddock Wood. It has a distinctly rural feel, with rolling agricultural land and a number of traditional oast houses that hint at the area's past.
Historically the village was a centre for hop growing and the hop-picking culture that shaped much of the Weald; many of the oasts and barns have now been converted into homes or small businesses. Today it remains a quiet residential community with local amenities centred on the village hall and pub, while easy road links and nearby rail at Paddock Wood mean many residents commute to larger towns and London.
