Saltfleetby is a small coastal parish in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, England, sitting on the North Sea coast by Theddlethorpe and the edge of The Wash. The landscape is dominated by long sandy beaches, dune systems and salt marshes, giving the area a windswept, remote feel that attracts walkers and birdwatchers rather than bustle.
Its best-known feature is the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes national nature reserve, home to rare plants, migrating waders and the much-loved natterjack toad. Historically the settlement grew around small-scale fishing, salt marsh grazing and medieval churches - the hamlets include churches such as Saltfleetby St Peter, Saltfleetby All Saints and Saltfleetby St Clement - and today the local economy mixes agriculture, conservation and low-key tourism with holiday caravans and wildlife interest central to village life.
