Aswarby and Swarby is a small civil parish in North Kesteven, Lincolnshire, centred on the twin villages of Aswarby and Swarby. It occupies gently rolling arable countryside a short drive from Sleaford, with a mix of farmland, parkland and pockets of ancient woodland; the historic estate park nearby gives the area distinctive tree-lined avenues and an estate character unusual for such a compact parish.
The settlements have medieval roots and include a number of listed buildings and village churches, while the local economy remains largely agricultural alongside a growing number of commuters and retirees. Community life is quietly active - village hall events, church activities and countryside pursuits such as walking and birdwatching are important - and the combination of working farmland and historic parkland makes the area a good example of rural Lincolnshire living.
