The village of Harmston is a small civil parish in the district of North Kesteven in rural Lincolnshire, England, situated a few miles south of Lincoln on the lower slopes of the Lincoln Cliff limestone escarpment. It has medieval roots and features a parish church and a number of stone-built cottages and farmhouses that reflect the area’s long agricultural history.
Today Harmston remains largely agricultural, with many residents commuting to nearby towns and cities; village life centres on a village hall, occasional community events and a handful of local businesses and farms. Its quiet lanes, surrounding countryside and views towards Lincoln make it popular with walkers and those seeking a rural base within easy reach of urban amenities.
