The Saints is a largely rural electoral ward in South Holland, in the low-lying Fenland of Lincolnshire, England. The landscape is very flat and heavily drained with a patchwork of ditches, drains and reclaimed fields, and the area lies within easy reach of the market town of Spalding. Its geography shapes local life - long views, strong winds and a sense of open space are typical.
Locally the ward takes its informal name from a cluster of parishes historically dedicated to various saints, so medieval churches and parish traditions remain focal points. Agriculture dominates the economy, with arable, vegetable and bulb production, seasonal labour and small food-processing enterprises, while community life centres on village halls, churches and parish events rather than large commercial centres. The history of fen drainage and land reclamation is a visible and important part of its character.
