Long Bennington is a village and civil parish in the district of South Kesteven, Lincolnshire, England, lying just off the A1 between Grantham and Newark-on-Trent. Its position on the old Great North Road gives it a distinctive linear character, with a mix of stone and brick period buildings and more recent housing set against the open agricultural landscape of south Lincolnshire.
The village retains a strong local community with a parish church, village hall, primary school and a handful of traditional inns and shops, and many residents commute to nearby towns or use the A1 for longer journeys. Historically a coaching stop on the main north–south route, Long Bennington still shows that heritage in its street layout and some surviving historic buildings, while village groups and events help keep a lively social scene.
