Claypole is a small village and civil parish in South Kesteven, Lincolnshire, England, situated just off the A17 between Newark and Grantham. Set in a largely agricultural landscape, the village contains a medieval parish church and several period buildings that reflect its long history, and the remnants of a mid‑20th century railway connection recall its 19th‑century transport links.
Today Claypole is a close‑knit rural community with a village hall and local activities, combining traditional farming life with a number of residents who commute to nearby towns and cities. Its quiet lanes, cottages and working farmland make it a good example of an East Midlands village balancing heritage and modern living.
