Beachamwell is a small rural village and civil parish in the district of Breckland, in west Norfolk, England. Set within the distinctive sandy soils and pinewoods of The Brecks, it sits in a landscape of rolling arable fields and heathland that gives the area a more open, scrubby character than much of eastern England.
The village has a long history reflected in surviving medieval church fabric and visible earthworks from earlier settlement, and it remains largely agricultural in character with arable farming and small-scale rural businesses dominating the local economy. Socially it is a close-knit community with village amenities and occasional local events, while the surrounding countryside attracts walkers and naturalists interested in the unusual habitats and wildlife of the Breckland landscape.
