Narborough is a small village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England, set in the low-lying, pleasantly marshy landscape of the River Nar valley. The village sits amid arable farmland and pockets of wetland and reedbed, making it attractive to walkers and birdwatchers; parts of the long-distance Nar Valley Way run nearby and the area is characterised by winding lanes, thatched cottages and the odd historic estate.
Historically the settlement grew around agriculture and a medieval parish church, and today it combines that rural character with a small, close-knit community and commuting links into larger towns such as King's Lynn and Norwich. Nearby historic houses and estates, for example Narford Hall, add architectural interest, while local events and village amenities keep the social life lively despite the village’s modest size.
