Beetley is a small village and civil parish in Breckland, in the county of Norfolk, England, lying a few miles west of the market town of Dereham and within easy commuting distance of Norwich.
Set in the mixed farmland and light woodland characteristic of the Brecks, Beetley has agricultural roots but also a strong village community centred on its church, primary school and village hall; local events and clubs keep social life active. The surrounding landscape of sandy soils, copses and remnant heathland makes it popular with walkers, while many residents commute to nearby towns for work, so the local economy blends farming, small businesses and commuter households and the village retains a quiet, historic rural character.
