Swanton Morley is a compact village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England, set among rolling arable countryside a few miles from Dereham and within easy reach of Norwich. Its centre retains a rural character with a medieval parish church, pockets of historic housing and the feel of a traditional Norfolk village surrounded by farmland.
The village is notable for the nearby RAF Swanton Morley airfield, which gave the community a significant wartime and post-war presence and still shapes local memory and occasional events. Today the local economy is a mix of agriculture, small businesses and commuting, supported by an active community life - village hall, pubs, sports clubs and regular local fetes that keep a strong social spirit.
