Hutton Buscel is a small village and civil parish in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire, England, sitting on the southern fringe of the North York Moors. It occupies gently rolling farmland with occasional sandstone outcrops and long views out over the Vale of Pickering, making it popular with walkers who use the network of public footpaths that radiate from the village.
Historically the name reflects a Norman family association and you can still sense the long agricultural pedigree in the stone houses and farmsteads; there’s a small, close-knit community with a village hall and local events, while a handful of holiday cottages and nearby attractions mean tourism plays a modest part alongside farming in the local economy.
