Tollerton is a small village and electoral ward in the borough of Rushcliffe, on the southern fringe of Nottingham in Nottinghamshire. It has a compact, village feel with a parish church, a primary school, a village hall and a pub, and is popular with commuters because of its easy access to the city and surrounding towns.
The settlement grew from agricultural roots but is best known locally for the airfield on its edge, now home to Nottingham Airport and a handful of aviation businesses and flying schools - a distinctive feature that gives the village a more mixed economic character than many rural parishes. There’s an active community life with clubs, events and a conservation-minded approach to its green spaces and historic buildings.
