North Aston is a small rural village and civil parish in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire, England, set among rolling farmland and lanes a short distance from neighbouring villages such as Steeple Aston and within easy reach of Bicester and Oxford. It has the quiet, low-key character of an Oxfordshire country place rather than a bustling centre, with a scattering of traditional stone cottages and farm buildings clustered around a historic manor house.
Historically the village grew up around its estate and agricultural economy, and today much of the local activity still reflects farming, country pursuits and estate management alongside a number of residents who commute to nearby towns. The settlement is noted for its historic buildings and parkland, a close-knit community life with village events and a village hall, and the conservation-minded feel common to small parishes in this part of the county.
