North Leigh is a village and civil parish in West Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England, sitting on the Cotswolds fringe a few miles west of Oxford and close to the market town of Witney. The surrounding landscape is gently rolling farmland in the Windrush valley, with honey‑coloured stone cottages, lanes and a compact village centre that still feels rural despite good road links to the city.
Historically the village is notable for the remains of a substantial Roman villa nearby and for its medieval parish church of St Mary, which contains early fabric and later fittings reflecting a long local history. Today North Leigh mixes agriculture with a number of residents who commute to Oxford or Witney, and village life is centred on the church, village hall and local pub, with an active community calendar and traditional village events.
