Cleehill is a small village on the slopes of the Clee Hills in Shropshire, England. Sitting high on the flanks of Titterstone Clee Hill, it’s often cited as one of the county’s highest villages and affords wide, exposed views across the Welsh Borders towards the Malvern Hills.
The landscape is marked by historic quarrying for the local hard “dhustone” and by the distinctive quarry faces and transmitter on Titterstone Clee Hill. Today Cleehill retains a small, close‑knit community with a pub, village hall and school, attracting walkers and cyclists; the local economy blends agriculture, remaining quarry activity and service links to nearby market towns such as Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow.
