Bradley Stoke is a largely residential new town in South Gloucestershire, England, developed mainly from the 1980s onwards on former farmland to the north-east of Bristol. It has a planned feel with a mix of housing estates, green corridors, parks and cycleways, and a population of roughly twenty thousand, making it one of the larger post‑war settlements in the area.
The town has a strong community focus with local shops and services centred around the Willow Brook Centre, a leisure centre and numerous sports clubs, and many residents commute to nearby business areas such as Aztec West and Filton. Historically recent, its identity is shaped more by community organisations, family amenities and accessible green space than by older civic landmarks, giving it a modern, suburban character.
