Blythe Bridge is a compact village in Staffordshire Moorlands, Staffordshire, England, taking its name from the old crossing over the nearby River Blithe. It grew up around a road and rail junction and still has Blythe Bridge railway station, giving residents straightforward rail links towards Stoke-on-Trent and Derby, while local lanes and footpaths run through the surrounding undulating Staffordshire countryside.
Historically a rural place with small-scale industries such as quarrying and brickmaking, today it is largely a residential and commuter community with local shops, pubs and active community groups. Its position close to the market town of Uttoxeter and within easy reach of the Peak District and the wider North Staffordshire area means people enjoy both country walks and access to the region’s pottery and market-town amenities.
