Buxhall is a small rural village and civil parish in Mid Suffolk, in the county of Suffolk, England, set among rolling arable fields, hedgerows and pockets of ancient woodland. It lies a few miles west of Stowmarket and has straightforward road links that make it a quiet commuter option for nearby towns such as Ipswich, while retaining a largely agricultural landscape.
The village is perhaps best known locally for the restored Buxhall Windmill and its medieval parish church; community life revolves around a village hall, a local pub and traditional events such as fetes and harvest celebrations. Historically milling and farming shaped the economy, and although many residents now travel further afield for work, the area still reflects its long rural heritage and close-knit social ties.
