Haughley is a village and civil parish in Mid Suffolk, Suffolk, England, lying just to the south of Stowmarket in gently rolling agricultural countryside. It retains prominent medieval features, notably the earthworks of the motte-and-bailey Haughley Castle, and the nearby Haughley Park estate reflects a long local history that goes back to entries in the Domesday Book.
Today the parish is largely rural, with farming alongside small businesses and many residents who commute to nearby towns such as Stowmarket or Ipswich. Village life centres on community amenities, a parish council and local clubs, with occasional events and conservation activity keeping a strong sense of local identity.
