Offton is a small rural village and civil parish in the district of Mid Suffolk in the county of Suffolk, in eastern England. Set among rolling arable fields and hedgerow-lined lanes typical of central Suffolk, it retains a dispersed settlement pattern with farmsteads and a handful of historic cottages; quiet country lanes and public footpaths link the parish to nearby market towns such as Stowmarket and Ipswich.
The village has medieval roots reflected in its parish church and some traditional timber-framed buildings, and community life is still largely centred on the church and village events. Agriculture remains an important part of the local economy while a number of residents commute to larger towns for work, so Offton typifies the balance between conservation of rural character and modest modern change found across East Anglia.
