Eriswell is a small rural parish in West Suffolk, in the county of Suffolk, England, sitting on the sandy soils of The Brecks near the Norfolk border. The landscape is a mix of pinewoods, heaths and arable fields, with patches of common land such as Eriswell Common that give the area a distinctive dry, open character unlike much of lowland East Anglia.
Historically the parish area has attracted interest for prehistoric barrows and other archaeological finds, and today it remains a quiet farming community with some forestry and light rural industry. Local life revolves around village amenities and links to nearby larger settlements such as Lakenheath and Brandon, while the proximity of military training areas and air bases in the wider region has had an influence on employment and land use. The village retains a compact historic core with a parish church and a handful of listed buildings that reflect its long local history.
