Knettishall is a tiny civil parish in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk, England, lying close to the Norfolk border beside the valley of the River Little Ouse. The parish is dominated by heathland, pockets of mixed woodland and farmland; the nearby Knettishall Heath country park and the sense of the surrounding Thetford Forest and Breckland landscape make it a popular spot for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.
Historically and socially it has always been sparsely populated, with an economy centred on agriculture and rural tourism and local life often tied to neighbouring villages. The landscape still shows echoes of the twentieth century in the form of wartime earthworks and airfield remnants, and active conservation groups help manage the heath and protect both wildlife and archaeological interest.
