Laleham is a small riverside village in the borough of Spelthorne, in the county of Surrey, England. It sits on the south bank of the River Thames, just to the west of Staines-upon-Thames and close to Shepperton, and is known for its attractive village green, riverside meadows and a conservation area that preserves a lot of historic character.
Historically agricultural with a manor and an old parish church at its heart, Laleham now combines that village feel with a commuter population and a handful of local shops and pubs. The riverside setting makes it popular for walks, boating and informal recreation, and the community is often described as quietly preserving village life despite being close to larger towns.
