Limpsfield sits on the scarp of the North Downs in the district of Tandridge, Surrey, England, and is partly within the Surrey Hills AONB. The area includes commons and chalk downland such as Limpsfield Common and the small settlement of Limpsfield Chart, offering extensive walking country and views across the Weald of Kent.
Characteristically semi-rural, Limpsfield combines timber-framed cottages, a historic parish church and a few village shops and pubs with small-scale agriculture, equestrian activity and visitor leisure around the commons. Many residents commute via nearby Oxted to London, but local community life remains centred on village events, walking and conservation of the surrounding countryside.
