The village of Limpsfield in the district of Tandridge, Surrey, England sits just to the south‑east of the small market town of Oxted and within easy commuting distance of London. The parish includes the historic hamlets of Limpsfield Chart and Limpsfield Common and occupies part of the Greensand Ridge, so you get a pleasant mix of woodland, commons and rolling countryside close to the capital.
Limpsfield retains a strong village character, with timber‑framed cottages, an old parish church and much of the centre in a conservation area; culturally it has an active community life with a village hall, pub and seasonal events. Economically it is largely residential - popular with commuters - alongside local shops, trades and some remaining agricultural activity, while the surrounding footpaths and heathland make it a well‑used spot for walkers and nature lovers.
