Dunchurch is a large historic village lying just a few miles south‑west of Rugby in Warwickshire, England. Centred on a triangular village green and a cluster of narrow lanes, it grew as an important coaching stop on the old routes north‑west and retains many listed buildings, thatched cottages and the medieval parish church of St Peter. The village is often noted for its connection to the aftermath of the Gunpowder Plot when conspirators met at a local inn, giving it a colourful slice of national history.
Today Dunchurch is largely residential with a lively community life: independent shops, pubs, sports clubs and regular village fetes and concerts. Its proximity to Rugby means good rail and road links for commuters, while local small businesses, equestrian centres and schools keep a distinctly village economy and social character.
