Princethorpe is a small parish just outside the town of Rugby in Warwickshire, England, set in rolling Warwickshire countryside of farms, hedgerows and narrow lanes. The settlement still feels rural, with traditional cottages, a village hall and community amenities giving it a compact, village character while being within easy reach of larger towns for work and services.
The most striking local feature is the large historic campus now occupied by Princethorpe College, a school housed in a former country house and convent which brings sporting fixtures, concerts and visitors into the parish and plays a big part in the local economy and social life. Agriculture remains important to the surrounding landscape, and the parish retains a quiet, community-minded feel with parish events, a church and the kind of listed buildings and long continuity of settlement that hint at its medieval and Victorian past.
