Brokenborough is a small, quietly rural parish just north of Malmesbury in Wiltshire, tucked into rolling countryside near the southern edge of the Cotswolds. It has medieval roots and longstanding historic links with Malmesbury Abbey, and the landscape is dominated by farmland, hedgerows and a compact cluster of older, stone-built houses and a modest parish church.
Today the local economy remains largely agricultural, although many residents commute to larger centres such as Swindon, Bath and Bristol. Social life is small-scale and community focused, with occasional village events and interest from walkers and heritage visitors exploring the lanes and historic sites in and around the parish.
