Belbroughton is a large village in the district of Bromsgrove, in Worcestershire, England. Sitting on the county’s western edge close to the West Midlands, it enjoys rolling countryside and easy access to the Clent Hills, which makes it popular with walkers as well as commuters seeking a rural feel within reach of larger towns.
Historically the village grew up around small-scale farming and a cottage nailmaking industry, and a number of older cottages and workshops still hint at that past. Today Belbroughton is a mixed community with local shops, pubs, a primary school and an active village hall, known for fetes, clubs and community events, while many residents travel to nearby towns and cities for work.
