Hanley Swan is a small village in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, England, set in rolling Worcestershire countryside on the fringe of the famous Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The surrounding landscape is a mix of pasture and arable land, giving the village a quiet, rural character while still being within easy driving distance of larger centres such as Malvern and Worcester.
Locally it feels like a close-knit community with a handful of pubs, village events and independent businesses rather than industry; agriculture and commuting to nearby towns make up much of the local economy. The settlement has historic roots and sits close to the site of the old Hanley Castle, so you’ll find a mixture of older buildings and later Victorian and Georgian houses, all lending a distinctly English village atmosphere.
