Lower Broadheath is a small rural village and civil parish in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, England, set in gently undulating farmland with views towards the Malvern Hills and convenient road links to nearby Worcester. Its lanes, hedgerows and traditional Worcestershire cottages give it a distinctly pastoral character.
The village is best known as the birthplace of composer Sir Edward Elgar and still celebrates that musical legacy: the cottage that houses the Elgar Birthplace Museum attracts visitors and local events often reference his work. Economically the area remains largely agricultural with many residents commuting to nearby towns, while village life revolves around the school, church, village hall and regular community fĂȘtes and clubs.
