Lower Broadheath is a village and civil parish in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, England. It lies a few miles west of Worcester on gently rolling farmland close to the scenic Malvern Hills, so it combines a rural agricultural character with handy commuter links to nearby towns.
The village is best known as the birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar and is home to the Elgar Birthplace Museum, which draws music visitors and occasional events. Locally there is a historic parish church, a primary school, pubs and active community groups; the economy remains largely rural with some small businesses and commuters, and the village’s period cottages and hedged lanes give it a distinct Worcestershire feel.
