Shrawley is a small, rural civil parish in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, a few miles west of Worcester and close to the winding course of the River Severn. The area is characterised by rolling farmland, hedgerows and pockets of ancient woodland, most notably Shrawley Wood, an SSSI valued for its rich ground flora and breeding woodland birds.
The settlement consists of scattered hamlets, historic farmhouses and a medieval parish church at its heart; the local economy remains largely agricultural, with many residents commuting to nearby towns. It has a small, tight-knit community and attracts walkers and naturalists who appreciate the quiet heritage and countryside atmosphere of rural Worcestershire.
