Warndon is a civil parish on the eastern edge of the city of Worcester in the county of Worcestershire, England. Once predominantly agricultural land on the city’s fringe, much of the parish was developed for housing from the late 20th century, so it now comprises suburban neighbourhoods interspersed with pockets of retained countryside and green corridors.
The area combines family-focused residential streets, local shops, schools and community facilities with light business estates on the outskirts that provide local employment; good road and public transport links make it convenient for commuters into Worcester and the wider Midlands. Though modern in parts, Warndon still shows traces of its rural past in hedgerows, footpaths and older farm buildings, and it has an active local community centred on village halls, parks and sports clubs.
