Inverbervie is a small coastal town in Aberdeenshire on the north‑east coast of Scotland, sitting where the Bervie Water meets the North Sea in the agricultural region known as the Mearns. The town has a compact old harbour, rocky shoreline with nearby sandy bays and cliffs, giving a very typical east‑coast seascape.
Historically it grew as a fishing and small‑scale shipbuilding settlement and you can still see period buildings and maritime traces around the harbour. Today Inverbervie is a quiet community with local clubs and events, a service centre for the surrounding countryside and a pleasant, unhurried character that reflects its rural and coastal past.
