Northop Hall is a small, largely rural village and parish in Flintshire, Wales, set amid rolling farmland on the edge of the Cheshire Plain and within easy reach of the Clwydian Range. The settlement grew around a historic hall and today the former manor survives in various forms, including a well-known country house hotel, giving the place a characterful mix of Georgian and Victorian architecture against open countryside and occasional wooded copses.
Locally life is shaped by agriculture, commuter links and an active community scene with a village hall, clubs and amateur sports teams; the area attracts walkers and riders keen to explore nearby lanes and footpaths. Good road links, notably the A55, make it straightforward to reach towns such as Mold, Flint and the city of Chester, so many residents combine rural living with work and leisure across the border.
