Morfa Nefyn sits on the northern edge of the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales, and is best known for its long sandy bay backed by dunes and a line of holiday chalets and caravan parks. The beach is popular with families, walkers and windsurfers and offers wide views across Cardigan Bay; on a clear day you can see the headlands of the peninsula and there are occasional sightings of coastal wildlife.
The area has a strong Welsh-speaking community and a quiet fishing and holiday-season economy, while nearby Nefyn and the tiny harbour at Porthdinllaen add historic charm and attract walkers on the Llŷn Way. Like much of the Llŷn, Morfa Nefyn balances traditional local life with the pressures and benefits of tourism and second-home ownership.
