The village and parish of Llannor sits on the southern edge of the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales, just a few miles from the coastal town of Pwllheli. It occupies rolling farmland and small hamlets with open views across Cardigan Bay and, on clear days, towards the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).
Traditionally agricultural, the local economy still centres on sheep and dairy farming alongside a modest tourism trade drawn by nearby beaches, walking routes and the peninsula’s designation as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Llannor retains a strong Welsh-speaking community, a medieval parish church and several chapels, and a quiet rural social life with local events and close ties to neighbouring towns for services and work.
